Avgi Daferera

Avgi Daferera translates from Greek and Spanish into English and from Spanish and English into Greek. She graduated from the English Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She has an MA in Writing from the University of Warwick and an MA in Literary Translation from the University of East Anglia. In 2012, the first year of the BCLT mentoring programme, she was the Greek mentee. Her interests include children’s literature and poetry
