At a cabinet meeting, held today,
it was decided, by a majority,
that, being elected,
by the people and for the people,
cheap homes will be made available
to all unemployed, and to those under the statutory
wage allowance.

These homes, in politicians’ back gardens,
will be proof of their genuine care for the people.
Those with two homes are willing, for a reasonable
allowance, lower than the going rate,
to make them available to the people.

The politicians are doing this,
as a cabinet effort,
to redress the public image of
themselves as people who
are only in it for what they
can get from it.

The opposition, in this case, are,
having concluded a whips meeting,
going to see this through.
