Hyam Yared

Hyam Yared is a Lebanese poet and novelist who writes in French and Lebanese Arabic. Born in Beirut in 1975, her first collection of poetry Reflets de Lune (2001) was followed by her first novel, L’Armoire des ombres, in 2006. Her most recent, Implosions, was published in 2021. She is the founder and president of Centre PEN Liban, the Lebanese chapter of PEN.
