Max Lury is a British writer based in London. His debut novel – No Ghosts – was published in April with Peninsula Press, and was featured in The New Statesman’s ‘Best fiction to read 2026’. He won the 23/24 Galley Beggar Short Story Prize, and his short fiction has appeared in 22 Fictions, The End, and Tar Press, amongst others.
